This week’s product launches

Japanese inspired trims, a rug collection for International Women’s Day and the first furniture collection from VSP Interiors. Here are the product launches that caught my eye this week

Roots is a new rug collection from Shame Studios created in collaboration with Furnishing Futures the UK charity designing trauma-informed homes for women and children rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse. Launching on Sunday 8th March to mark International Women’s Day, the collection brings together centuries-old Indian craftsmanship and healing-focused design to create calm, restorative interiors. There are 14 handwoven rugs in the collection each named after an alias chosen by a Furnishing Futures beneficiary and paired with her personal reflection, transforming every piece into a symbol of resilience and renewal

Award winning design studio VSP Interiors has collaborated with handmade furniture brand Oficina Inglesa to launch a collection of furniture rooted in classic English design. The collection includes two four-poster beds, three coronas, coordinating bedside tables and two dining chairs – all handcrafted to order. The beds have been designed to serve as the perfect canvas for drapery, allowing designers and clients alike to personalise each piece through bespoke dimensions, finishes and detailing. Founder of VSP Interiors, Henriette von Stockhausen says “Every detail has been considered and refined to streamline the beds and coronas, ensuring effortless assembly and offering makers versatile possibilities for the drapery.”

Looping Forms is a new collection from Lora Avedian, comprising eight handcrafted trim designs and three leading-edge curtain designs. The collection is informed by two significant journeys Avedian made in 2025 – first to Japan and then to Armenia. The abstract, looping motifs draw inspiration from the coiled and twisted metalwork found in ancient Armenian jewellery, while the colour palette reflects the tones of objects she collected during her time in Japan

British rug studio Peter Page has launched its first collaboration with contemporary artist Georgie Hopton. The new designs reimagine her distinctive visual language as a series of six flatweave runners in a choice of colourways. The project brings together two practices united by a love of natural materials, a deep respect for process and a belief that everyday objects can be quietly expressive. Georgie Hopton is a British artist whose practice is rooted in repetition, rhythm and the quiet beauty of imperfection. Working with natural materials, including vegetables, plants and flowers, she creates handprinted compositions that feel organic, tactile and instinctive

VitrA has unveiled new Glora and Sareta bathroom furniture. Glora is defined by its curved shapes, in natural tones, while Sareta is available in a broader colour palette to suit a range of contemporary bathroom styles. Both ranges are wall hung with handle-less cabinetry to create a softer aesthetic (image shows Glora units in matt taupe)

Sticking with bathroom furniture, C.P. Hart has launched new vanities from Spanish manufacturer Buto. The collection includes Tabu (pictured above) designed by Summum Studio for Buto. Cylindrical solid surface basins are held in a meticulously crafted countertop, available in matt and textured lacquers, wood and lacquered wood finishes, designed to bring warmth and balance to contemporary bathrooms. Each wall-mounted vanity is available in a range of configurations with drawer fronts in a choice of wood, lacquered wood, porcelain and fluted porcelain, with wood and lacquered wood trays
