Mylands has achieved Planet Mark Certification marking a milestone on its journey towards sustainable paints

Mylands, Britain’s oldest family owned paint and polishes manufacturer, has been granted Planet Mark Certification. This internationally recognised certification highlights Mylands’ dedication to environmental stewardship and its proactive approach to reducing its carbon footprint. Becoming a Planet Mark Certified Business and embarking on the Planet Mark Net Zero Certification Programme is a critical step for Mylands, helping the company to measure its carbon emissions comprehensively and identify areas for further improvement on the path to net zero.

In addition, the company has launched a Colour Consultancy service which provides a personalised approach, tailored to an individual’s lifestyle and aesthetic, while also appreciating the nuances of natural light, architectural features, and spatial dynamics in the home. The services covers an initial phone call, colour consultation appointment and a bespoke colour plan.

The service is available to private homeowners, as well as interior designers and architects and costs £200 per hour with a minimum two hours (up to six rooms)
