Are you on the list? Find out who’s shortlisted for this year’s BIID Interior Design Awards
The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) has revealed the shortlisted projects for the 2026 BIID Interior Design Awards. For the first time, entries were invited in residential and commercial categories for each region, to acknowledge the increasing volume and variety of submissions. This year’s shortlisted projects demonstrate creativity and technical proficiency across a range of interiors, from precise historic renovations to complete transformations of new properties
BIID president Liz Bell says, “The BIID Interior Design Awards is now in its fifth year and we’ve seen a fantastic response from the community, with more designers engaging with the Awards and sharing their work each year. The judges were challenged with the task of evaluating an outstanding selection of diverse projects from a record number of submissions, with designers representing regions across the UK and beyond. Establishing the separate commercial and residential subcategories for 2026 means projects were assessed on comparable criteria, giving them a greater opportunity to achieve recognition at the awards ceremony on 15th October.”
