Both Vispring and The Rug Company open showrooms in Chelsea Harbour, Aram celebrate 60 years with a new gallery space and Fisher & Paykel launch an experience centre

Luxury bed brand Vispring has opened a new 844sq ft showroom at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. The new showroom allows visitors to experience Vispring’s beds and customisation options with sleep experts on hand to offer advice.

The Rug Company is relocating to the heart of London’s design district with a new showroom opening in Chelsea Harbour. The showroom will feature core collections as well as a studio dedicated to creating bespoke designs and there will also be a room set to demonstrate the rugs in a lifestyle setting.

Celebrating 60 years, Aram in Covent Garden is opening a new gallery space. Since 1964 family run Aram has showcased modern furniture and lighting from both established and emerging international designers, expect to find pieces from Vitra, Knoll, B&B Italia and USM. To celebrate Aram’s design legacy, the team have worked with Knoll to create a limited edition of Marcel Breuer’s iconic Wassily chair. The chair was the first product sold at Aram when it opened its doors and the company will have 24 chairs in a special edition black canvas, each with a unique ARAM 60 2024 stamp. Luxury appliance brand Fisher & Paykel has opened the doors to an experience centre on London’s Wigmore Street. As well as seeing how the appliances fit into various kitchen settings, visitors can enjoy food tastings and explore the Fabric Care Solutions space where Fisher & Paykel has taken the concept of laundry beyond washing and drying to encompass fibre-specific tailored fabric care. The new experience centre honours the company’s New Zealand roots by greeting guests with an offering of Kawakawa tea prepared on a hot rock.
