Bespoke tufted rugs, domino tiles and uncomplicated cabinets. These are the product launches that caught my eye this week
Following the launch of the hand tufted wool rug collection in 2021, Roger Oates Design is now offering a bespoke design service.
Customers can simply customise the hand tufted rugs in their own colours and sizes or use them as a starting point to create a unique design of their own. A member of the Roger Oates team will then bring the design to fruition.
Samples and colour poms can be viewed in the Roger Oates studio in Chelsea Wharf the rugs are then made from 100% British wool spun and dyed in Yorkshire.
Pilgrim was founded by furniture designer and maker Paul Staden in 2021. The brand offers a collection of uncomplicated cabinets and homeware pieces.
Each piece is made by hand with longevity, simplicity and functionality in mind. The debut collection from Pilgrim is Birce (old English for birch). The cabinets feature birch plywood in its natural form or painted in one of Pilgrim’s signature colours each inspired by the Sussex countryside.
Kiddo tiles from New Ravenna are now available from West One Bathrooms. The 11 designs are hand crafted in Virginia, USA from stone and glazed Basalto. The materials in the collection have been honed, polished and tumbled to create varying textures with several designs accented with metallics, including brass.
Each pattern can be fully customised with the client’s material preferences to fit the scope of any commercial or residential project.
