Tiles inspired by leaves, smart new light switches and Voysey revisited – these are the product launches that caught my eye this week
Created by Duravit, in collaboration with designer Christian Werner, Ocavo bathroom furniture – a UK exclusive to C.P. Hart – combines a close-to-nature aesthetic with contemporary design. Created from solid oak and produced in the Black Forest, Germany, each piece of furniture is unique, defined by the natural oak grain visible beneath a finely lacquered surface. With straight-lined silhouettes, tapered edges and chamfered handles, the collection reflects exceptional workmanship and timeless simplicity

The Kinetic Collection from the Soho Lighting Company utilises innovative new technology centred around the world’ s first kinetic dimming switch. Developed in the UK by the company’s engineering division, Enkin, the collection brings together energy-harvesting technology and intelligent dimming designed to simplify retrofit projects, while enhancing the way light is experienced at home
The Kinetic Collection responds to many of the challenges associated with traditional lighting controls.
Each switch generates its own energy from the press of a button, wirelessly communicating with Enkin’s
proprietary dimming technology without the need for batteries. By reducing the reliance on additional
wiring, the system offers architects and interior designers greater flexibility when planning spaces, while helping to minimise disruption during refurbishment

The Art of the Leaf tile is the result of a collaboration between designer Petra Palumbo and interior designer Rosanna Bossom. The embossed tiles have been developed in the UK, drawing on archival needlepoint motifs from Tapisserie, they are available in six, bespoke autumnal colours (photo credit Alex Baxter)

Inspired by the marble mosaics of ancient Rome, Lapicida’s new mosaics collection is handcrafted in Italy using techniques passed down through generations. Each marble tessera is gently tumbled to create an authentic, aged finish, rich in character and impossible to replicate with machine-made alternatives. Available in nine marbles, the tessera are assembled on 30x30cm mesh backed sheets suitable for both walls and floors

Morris & Co. invites you to step into the world of C.F.A. Voysey with the launch of Voysey House Volume I. This wallpaper collection celebrates the enduring influence of the visionary architect and designer who, alongside William Morris, defined the soul of the Arts & Crafts movement. Known for his ability to blend whimsical charm with a disciplined, architectural structure, Voysey’s work remains as compelling today as it was at the turn of the 20th century. These designs bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary papers by exploring heritage through an unexpected lens
