This week’s product launches

A first for Otto tiles, ceiling lights inspired by chalk cliffs and two new rug collections. These are the products that caught my eye this week

Collier Webb presents the Seven Sisters Collection, a new series of handcrafted ceiling lights inspired by the dramatic beauty of the Sussex coast. Created by Collier Webb’s design director, David Arratoon, the collection draws upon the striking landscape of the Seven Sisters cliffs situated a stone’s throw from the brand’s foundry and workshops, and layers it with architectural cues from the Georgian lighthouse that stands sentinel along this coastline

Launching this Autumn, the Terrena Collection marks Otto Tiles & Design’s first ceramic range. Known for its signature handcrafted cement and marble ranges, the move into ceramics has been a carefully considered one, with the new collection designed to be practical and durable without compromising on creativity and artistry. Made in small batches in Italy and Spain, it combines soft matte finishes, painterly glazes and layered colour to deliver a surface that is both elevated and enduring

I would like to introduce you to Woody’s Concrete Company, specialists in polished concrete, creating beautiful surfaces including floors, worktops and sinks for both residential and commercial projects. Founded by husband and wife duo, Izzy Taylor-Wood and Steven “Woody” Wood in 2017, the business partners with architects and designers to create bespoke solutions. Launching this September, Kirkby’s very first collection of artisanal wool rugs, ARCHETYPE, encapsulates the contemporary aesthetic of the brand. Originally designed in the Kirkby studio, hand-carved elements add depth and dimension while bold stripes and abstract graphics make confident statements. With colours influenced by the signature Kirkby palette, ARCHETYPE celebrates earthy tones and monochromatic combinations.

Staying with rugs, Tai Ping is launchig Ami (above) by ab concept during this year’s London Design Festival. The hand-tufted collection is inspired by the traditional patterns in cable knit jumpers and can be seen at the Tai Ping flagship store on the Fulham Road
