Here’s my pick of the fabric and wallpaper 2025 collections launched for this autumn/winter
Arte have introduced nine new designs to their Décor & Panoramiques wallcovering collection. Each panoramic or décor captivates the imagination with its storytelling power, while the materials enhance the experience through unexpected textures. The dreamy panorama Paradisiac, available in two colourways, portrays an oil painting of a tropical landscape beneath an expansive sky. Printed on ultra-soft velvet, it offers a refined and enveloping, tactile finish

The Ardmore Collection from Cole & Son was created in collaboration with Ardmore Ceramic Art. Ardmore’s charming and exuberant ceramic creations have both a narrative and a strong heritage rooted in African tradition and culture. The Collection features a range of conversational, vibrant, pictorial wallpapers and borders that add a new dimension to the Cole & Son library

Scottish brand Timorous Beasties are celebrating 35 years of their bold, boundary-pushing designs with the launch of an exotic new collection Straight Out the Jungle. Rooted in a spirit of elegant irreverence, this collection presents a richly decorative new range of wallpapers and fabrics loosely based on the 17th Century inspirational book The Insects of Surinam by the Dutch naturalist Maria Sybillia Merian. The collection’s hero is XL Jungle, a show-stopping wallpaper design spanning an exceptional and unorthodox 20M repeat

Fischbacher 1819 introduces its first recycled fil coupé within the new BENU Recycled collection, extending the Swiss textile house’s circular design concept with a refined new drapery fabric that combines technical complexity with understated elegance. The new BENU Fil Coupé Recycled is crafted from recycled cotton and wool using the intricate fil coupé technique to create softly rounded rectangular motifs on a melange ground. The fabric’s semi-transparent quality allows it to filter and diffuse light beautifully

At Decorex 2025 Noel & Marquet launched The Essence of Rhythm, a dramatic new collection of 3D wall panels that blend natural beauty with musical harmony. The trio of designs includes Allegretto, bold mineral-inspired asymmetry; Calando, evoking soft fabric-like flow; and Bohemia, rich in ethnic warmth and organic character. Allegretto and Calando offer flexible formats and cutting guides, making them ideal for curved surfaces and bespoke applications

Travertine from Fromental is a design that reminds us that sometimes, the most beautiful creations are born from the unexpected. Fromental co-founder and design director, Lizzie Deshayes, was experimenting with metallic paints when she wiped her paintbrush on a linen cloth. The subtle streaks left behind resembled the intricate veining of natural stone. What began as a simple, unplanned gesture evolved into one of Fromental’s most captivating designs, with washes of iridescent metallic paints layered and brushed across silk grounds. Three new jewel-like colourways join the collection this season – Charon, Atlas and Kepler (Fromental are celebrating their 20th anniversary)

This month, ILIV launched two new commercial fabric collections: Veneto and Monterey. Veneto (above) is a plain boucle drapery with a soft, organic texture, it’s fire-retardant and available in 19 colourways. Monterey is a richly textured hopsack chenille with a timeless weave and multi-tonal finish; it brings an element of plushness and durability across 19 shades. For bespoke projects, ILIV also offers custom print services

The new Upstairs Downstairs collection from Annika Reed Studio divides into two complementary chapters: flora, the Downstairs Collection; and children’s, the Upstairs Collection. Image shows Dahlia from the Downstairs collection one of four single stem botanicals celebrating the British garden. From the hopeful daffodil and the dignified dahlia, to the joyful sunflower and woodland bluebell. Each design is hand carved using woodblock techniques in Annika Reed’s Somerset studio

From Bloomfield Ink Kosmos is their sixth original wallpaper design which comes in two scales in a series of bold colourways. “We designed Kosmos as a love letter to the Universe, to pay respect to the interconnected nature of all beings, the flora, the fauna, the cosmic, of land, sea and sky” explains Bloomfield Ink’s designer Emerald Dangerfield. The collection consists of large scale Oikos, small scale Spiralis and the striking multi coloured Eremos (shown above). The design in all three is made up of symbols within a flowing, repeating oval structure akin to the double helix structure of DNA

Kieffer Untitled III is the third instalment of Kieffer’s collection with Rubelli, celebrating natural fibres, weaves and curated colour palettes. Familiar hues from past chapters are re-imagined and Kieffer’s geometric motif’s are extended and adapted. The whole collection feels grounded and daring, with honesty and attention to detail at the forefront (image shows Berber from the collection)

This Autumn, Fiona Howard launched Shipping Forecast, a new wallpaper collection that captures the timeless romance of Britain’s seafaring heritage. The design honours the centenary of Robert Fitzroy’s much-loved British broadcast, weaving nostalgia into contemporary spaces. True to Howard’s hallmark style, every motif is hand-carved from lino blocks. Puffins, lighthouses, ships and swifts drift across the wallpaper in a rhythmic flow, echoing the Shipping Forecast’s poetic cadence. Each of the 31 sea areas from Viking to Biscay, is depicted with charming detail, creating a charismatic design telling the story of our seas

The Morris & Co. designers have picked up the pen laid down by William Morris and John Henry Dearle to create The Unfinished Works. From The Huntington’s remarkable library of documents come handcrafted and unmistakably original designs across wallpapers, borders, fabrics, weaves and embroideries. Previously incomplete sketches have been thoughtfully and meticulously uncovered and interpreted to bring new imaginings of hidden treasures to interiors

Mark Alexander presents a thoughtfully curated collection of naturally beautiful textiles, designed to bring understated luxury and refined elegance to contemporary interiors. This carefully considered, boutique launch showcases a curated range of fabrics meticulously crafted using some of the world’s most exclusive and luxurious yarns. The inherent beauty of natural fibres such as merino wool, spun silk, cashmere, mohair and alpaca is celebrated through an array of luxurious velvets, lustrous weaves, and graceful sheers

Autumn/Winter 2025 sees the launch of Inchyra’s Jaujac Collection, a beautiful mix of florals, stripes and a smart two colour rondelle design. The colour palette interlinks completely to create a cohesive collection of linens that mix scale with pattern. The star and centrepiece of the collection is Jaujac Rose (pictured above) with an indienne influence. It’s a beautiful floral banded by decorative stripes, printed on 100% linen in five colourways. The design introduces a delicate sensibility with graceful floral motifs and flowing ornamental details. There is a bold width to the pattern but the subtle colourways don’t overwhelm the design

The James Hare Rococo Collection for A/W 2025 is luxurious, elegant and unapologetically feminine. It celebrates the grandeur and ornate charm of the 18th Century style, a revival of decorative Rococo artistry, reimagined for the modern interior. Luxurious fabrics mix intricate patterns, large scale damasks and stripes, delicate textures, detailed trims and a refined colour palette that infuses the whole collection. The lead fabric is Rococo Damask (pictured above) an opulent grand scale design with intricate detail and soft sheen, offset by a subtle matt ground creating a rich interplay of texture and light. Available in four contemporary colours

Renowned British interior designer and antiques dealer Christopher Hodsoll has partnered with George Spencer Designs to launch an exclusive new fabric collection comprising of four captivating floral patterns. Drawing inspiration from Hodsoll’s extensive design archive, the collection reimagines some of his best botanical motifs, reinterpreting classic designs in refined, contemporary colourways

From Penny Morrison, Evora is a new collection of fabrics and wallpaper. Paying homage to the theme of globally sourced designs, Evora features fabrics and wallpaper designs influenced by Coromandel Coast block prints, the rich textures of Africa and Anatolia and brass antiquities of India alongside a fresh take on an old favourite – Zanzibar. Harnessing the natural dye palettes of the old world, including madder red, burnt umber and ochre yellow, the collection offers richer grounds to lend more depth to an interior. The printed fabrics – Evora, Rosa and Little Zanzibar are printed on 100% hemp, Sintra Stripe and Tavira Stripe have been crafted using cotton and linen

This season, Designers Guild has drawn inspiration for the Trevenna collection from the county of Cornwall – surrounded by water, with miles of dramatic coastline and a landscape of moors and heathland. The resulting fabrics are rich in mineral tones, tactile textures and are infused with the spirit of nature. From printed velvets and linens, embroideries to elegant velvets and weaves

This season Osborne & Little’s collections explore texture and pattern. Shown here, Caraballo is a collection of woven fabrics that celebrate rich texture and artisanal craftsmanship. Featuring space-dyed yarns, bouclé, chenille, velvet and twisted threads, the collection showcases a mix of semi-plains, stripes, chevrons, trellis patterns and a fringed design. Presented in a palette of earthy neutrals and natural tones, these versatile fabrics bring depth and warmth to interiors. Seven of the ten designs have an exceptional Martindale abrasion, making them suitable for contract use

Nina Campbell presents Honfleur wallpapers including modern stripes, a new painterly scene, plus a reimagined damask and the subtlest of leafy trellises. Presented in Nina’s signature colour palette, the collection offers a wide choice and perfectly compliments the Nina Campbell fabric collections
