This week’s product launches

Alabaster lights, statement basins and a troupe of dancing ladies – here are the products that caught my eye this week

From Bloomfield Ink, a joyous new wallpaper design called Dancing Ladies in 11 colourways. The collection was inspired by a creative wallpaper workshop, held by artist Hugh Dunford Wood, that Emerald attended several years ago. Bloomfield Ink produce just one or two new hand blocked designs a year printed by traditional methods. A creative collaboration between colourist Prue MacLeod and textile designer Emerald Dangerfield the brand, which was established in 2021, now has seven collections inspired by nature, botanical motifs and organic shapes

Responding to growing demand for larger, statement pieces, Victoria + Albert’s in-house UK design team has developed a new floor standing model for its recently launched Kerid collection. Following the same design DNA as the rest of the Kerid range, the minimalist podium basin features a sleek, one-piece form with a chamfered base detail, echoing the Kerid soaking bath, to create a subtle ‘floating’ effect. The basins will be available in August

From Collier Webb, the Crest collection is inspired by the organic beauty of shells. The lights feature a hand-carved alabaster shade that celebrates the material’s natural character, with each piece individually handcrafted in-house at the East Sussex foundry using the lost wax casting method. The collection includes a wall light, pendant and semi-flush ceiling mount

American brand Waterworks has launched a new Solid Surface tub collection. Inspired by French and Scandinavian mid-century ceramics, the baths are made in Italy. There are three distinct silhouettes – Cinta (pictured above), Rein and Vector – each available in matte white or grey
