Meet House of Twenty, a furniture store and restoration workshop based in East London, specialising in mid-century furniture from Scandinavia.

Located in Clapton , East London, House of Twenty is a studio and showroom that restores original 20th Century Danish design furniture. The products are sourced from Scandinavia and then refinished in-house by a team of female restorers and upholsterers.

The company’s caring restoration ensures the mid-century furniture items retain their original design features.

House of Twenty was founded by Natalie Harding, the fourth generation of a family of woodworkers and furniture makers. She says, “Our products come from the mid-20th century and are full of stories, we give them a fresh lease of life to become focal points in the creation of new ones.”

House of Twenty has an online shop but interior designers are also encouraged to visit the studio to feel and experience the products and see the process behind the restoration.
