Chloe Bullock has called on her 30 year career, specialising in vegan design and the circular economy, to write this informative handbook

Written to help designers and their clients find an approach that fits their values and ethics, Sustainable Interior Design will help all of us define and examine interior design’s impact as an industry.

Chloe introduces her readers to eleven inspirational approaches, which can be set as a project goal, demonstrated in a range of responsible and innovative spaces, products, materials and supply chains.

Packed with innovative examples from around the world, alongside guidance on the benefits of designing sustainably and regeneratively, there’s information on how sustainable design contributes to health and wellbeing, promotes ecology and embraces the circular economy – all backed up by authoritative best practice guidance.

Chloe was the first interior designer in the UK to be vegandesign.org certified™

[…] There is a growing demand for more sustainable interiors, how are you addressing this? This is a consideration that all designers are facing and is an aspect of the design process that will increasingly have more importance. My approach is to consider purchases carefully. I mix old original light fittings and furnishings with contemporary pieces and specify local and British made pieces where ever possible. This is with a view to reducing the carbon footprint of my projects. (find more about sustainable interior design here) […]
