Are you heading to Focus at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour? I’m involved with a couple of talks and it would be great if you could join me
Focus runs at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour (DCCH) from 16 to 20 September as part of the London Design Festival
I will be at the show on Wednesday 18 September chairing two talks, both of which I think you will find interesting. At 2.00pm I will be in the Crucial Trading showroom for a discussion titled How To Design Naturally. The panel of experts for this are interior designer Suzy Hoodless, lighting designer Naomi Paul and Jon Flannigan from Crucial Trading. We will be exploring how the use of natural materials can enhance our surroundings, both aesthetically and in terms of our wellbeing.
Then I’m dashing downstairs to the Interdesign showroom to chair the annual Grow Your Business in Association with the BIID talk at 4.00pm. This year we are tackling How To Work With Clients. My panellists are three successful interior designers Charmaine White, associate director, interior design at Holland Green; Brian Woulfe, managing and creative director of Designed by Woulfe; and Bee Janaye, founder of Atelier Janaye. I think this is going to be a lively one, as we discuss how to establish and build client relations while setting realistic parameters and managing expectations.
I very much hope you can join me for one or both of these talks, and come prepared with your questions, I always welcome lively interaction with the audience.
