In this week’s interior design news, I bring you a handsome brass wall lantern, sustainable garden furniture and a compact cast iron bath
British lighting brand J Adams has updated its Lantern collection with the addition of reeded glass. Constructed from solid brass the handmade lights are available with either a golden antique brass or rich bronze finish both of which will naturally age and patina over time. As well as the reeded glass, clear and frosted options are available and the Lantern collection is IP44 rated for exterior and bathroom usage.
British manufacturer, Very Good & Proper has launched its first outdoor collection, which remains true to its commitment to explore sustainable materials.
VG&P partnered with Paris design studio AC/AL to devise the Latte Chair, the world’s first furniture made with biocomposite technology from the Swedish company Trifilon – a combination of recycled plastic and hemp fibres that drastically lower the CO2-impact of production.
To complete the collection, VG&P has also designed an outdoor version of its ever-popular Canteen Table with an FSC® certified treated Accoya timber top.
Designed with smaller bathrooms in mind, Drummonds’ new Regent cast iron bath is a more compact version of the existing Meon design.
Regent has been constructed with a ‘skirt’ to allow pipework to be connected above the floor but concealed from sight. Drummonds baths are supplied as raw metal, primed or polished and lacquered. Regent measures 1520mm x 730mm
