This weeks product launches

Antiqued mirrors, a jaunty lamp and cushions inspired by The New Forest. These are the products that caught my eye this week

This Spring antique mirror specialist Dominic Schuster, has launched the Eclipse mirror using colour tinted glass with black opaline and sandblasted detailing. Dominic specialises in crafting antiqued mirror glass from his Hampshire workshop where his team can create specialist finishes that authentically replicate the natural degradation of mercury and silvered mirrors (image above). The studio has also perfected the technique of fusing antiqued mirror with architectural prints, fine art photography, wallpaper and even fabric.

Kit Kemp’s New Forest collection for Annie Selke evokes the spirit of a region that’s near and dear to Kit’s heart: the New Forest National Park, “It’s the most beautiful and historic place, full of walking and riding trails, ancient trees and heathland,” says Kit. All that rich natural beauty translated easily to the new designs, which she describes as “sophisticated, with a crafted, country feel.” The New Forest collection includes handwoven rugs and embroidered cushions.

The Diovo table lamp is new from London studio Kinkatou. The lamp is handcrafted on the wheel and features coloured baubles which add a sense of fun to the design. Standing 50cm high, Diovo is available with a choice of lamp shades.

Contemporary Cube shower head from Waterworks

Waterworks have launched a series of new products (available from June) including this new Universal Flush Mount Cube showerhead in Nickel. Continuing the contemporary theme, the luxury brassware brand has also collaborated with GACHOT resulting in Finot. Inspired by industrial design, Finot includes taps and shower fittings plus lighting, accessories and hardware pieces.

Holmes Bespoke present Summer Garden, an indoor/outdoor rug collection, inspired by the natural beauty of jute and sisal, yet handwoven from sustainable P.E.T yarn. P.E.T (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a yarn made from recycled plastic bottles. It is lightweight, quick drying and durable, easy to clean and water, UV, stain and moth resistant while maintaining a soft touch.
