Mid Century lighting, smart bathroom taps and gorgeous rugs – these are the product launches that caught my eye this week
The Archive collection from Norwegian glassblowing studio Hadeland Glassverk features mid-century lines and sleek Scandi geometry.
The collection is based on designs from the post war period using the original wooden molds. However there is now a choice of fittings – brass, black and brushed steel – plus the addition of table and floor lamps.
The full Archive collection can be seen at Hadeland’s new showroom at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.

Bathroom brand Coalbrook has launched the Zurich collection.
The collection features a selection of taps, deck and wall mounted basin mixers and deck and wall mounted bath fillers available in Coalbrook’s signature four finishes: chrome; gunmetal; brushed brass and brushed nickel. Ceramic handles and two tone options are due to launch at a later date. (Step inside the striking Coalbrook showroom here)

Pinton has worked closely with French designer Pierre Gonalons on a new collaboration called Attraction.
This is the first time Gonalons has worked with textiles, continuing Pinton’s 70-year tradition of working with contemporary designers and artists. The Attraction collection includes a hand woven tapestry, four rug designs, six carpet designs and eight jacquard fabrics created using traditional techniques at Pinton’s recently acquired Flanders factory.
Using a combination of new technology and traditional manufacturing Pinton has translated Gonalons’ designs – celebrating colour, material and form.
